To provide a working space for creative minds, K. Ashok, a dentist by profession and the husband of artist Keerthi has come up with a spacious gallery. It will provide space to select artists for their work and be well-equipped with all required paraphernalia to exhibit their artwork. Uday and Keerthi studied fine arts at Telugu University and JNAFAU, Hyderabad. Although both artists work in the photo-realistic genre, they cover very different themes.

While Uday paints antique coins, Keerthi’s works are very personal, with self-portraits and paintings of children and her son. She paints with an eye for detail, reinstating every aspect with her perfectly finished rendering. The play of light and shade in her works, textures, and other fine details, are flawlessly painted. One of her unique paintings depicts her son with his pet, surrounded by excerpts from the child’s world of interests.

The perfect brush finish can also be found in Uday’s works. When asked about his consistent depiction of coins, he says, “I believe that money is one of the most potent mantras of contemporary life. The power of money can bring joy in many lives, while its deprivation can make people miserable.

Throughout history, wars have taken place worldwide over power and wealth. I feel astonished by how lifeless things like coins can rule over living beings like us. Still, a currency on the canvas attracts the viewer; such is the magnetic strength of wealth”, he states.
